How the same principles that make software good also make other things good. Constraints, clarity, the cost of accumulation.
Right now I'm somewhere between building and reflecting. The day-to-day is mostly technical work — backend infrastructure, the kind of problems that don't show up in demos but matter to the people maintaining the system six months from now.
I'm also thinking about pace. There's a version of moving quickly that's just cutting corners with confidence. I'm not interested in that version. I want to move fast in a way that leaves things cleaner than I found them.
