Wezesha Soko

A B2B marketplace for Kenya — supplier verification, business workflows, the trust layer that makes commerce between strangers feel safe. Still early, but the shape is becoming clear.

Leading

AfriBuild

An open-source learning community where engineers learn by building real things together. Running the next cohort. The goal is experience, not curriculum.

Meditations — Marcus Aurelius

A man writing to himself about how to be better at being a person. The discipline sections are practical in ways that don't feel like they're trying to be.

The day job at Creative Bits AI is interesting work — AI-assisted tooling, backend systems, the overlap between product and engineering culture. Outside of that, most of my energy goes into Wezesha Soko and AfriBuild, which are both still early enough that the decisions feel permanent.

I'm also thinking about what it means to build in a market that the rest of the world treats as an edge case. The infrastructure assumptions are different. The trust assumptions are different. The problems worth solving are different. I find that clarifying rather than limiting.
